WCEF2025 accelerator session: Shaping Circular Food Futures: A Multi-Stakeholder Approach to Scale Up Innovations
World Resources Institute Africa through the Circular Food Systems for Rwanda Program, in collaboration with The Global Alliance on Circular Economy and Resource Efficiency (GACERE), the Circular Economy Coalition for Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC CEC), and the African Circular Economy Alliance (ACEA), will co-host an event at the World Circular Economy Forum in São Paulo, Brazil, on Thursday, 15 May 2025, from 1:45 pm - 3:00 pm Brasilia Time (BRT).
This event is an accelerator session at the World Circular Economy Forum 2025 (wcef2025.com).
The session will explore how circular economy principles transform food systems across Africa, Latin America, and beyond. It will showcase real-world examples of locally driven, scalable solutions that empower small businesses and communities while fostering sustainability and innovation. The discussion will also highlight multi-stakeholder collaboration in supporting businesses to scale and create an enabling environment for circular business models.
