In March, the Circular Food Systems for Rwanda program partners, affiliated stakeholders, government ministers, and participating representatives from our SMEs and TAPs convened in Kigali, Rwanda for a 3-day learning event. The audience heard directly from the program leaders, experts in the field, the IKEA Foundation, and our brilliant SMEs and TAPs. The event included a field visit to Kigasali Coffee Company to learn how the initiative is helping make their operations more circular. It was a unique opportunity to learn from a diverse range of speakers and hear about the varying approaches within Rwanda’s food and agricultural ecosystem that make it one of the most ambitious circular countries in the world.
